• 340.19 g fine chocolate
• 4.92 ml butter
• 2.46 ml vanilla extract
• 236.59 ml half-and-half

directions

1. Melt the chocolate, butter and vanilla in a double boiler. When just smooth stir in the cream.

This looks delicious! I would try it but it has more than enough calories for an entire day!!! I will pass and stick to my vanilla chai hot chocolate made with water and fat free whipped cream, and fat free cocoa powder or 1 1/2 tsp unsweetened cocoa pwoder, stevia, cinnamon for 30 calories

Wow, what a great cup of hot cocoa! I used ghirardelli chocolate for my fine chocolate plus I used 1/2 cup light cream & 1/2 cup 2% milk as I didn't have any half & half. I also added chocolate whip cream to top it off. This recipe was made for the Comfort Cafe's Jan. '09 tag game.
