i would love to be able to rate this 5 stars (which it is) but i left it cook way too long. regardless, this is a wonderful "one pot" and tastes divine. i made it with home made bbq sauce - and i think that might have been the key. it was tangy and flavourful, yet not overpowering. it's all shredded and getting ready for the freezer right now - but it is hard to keep myself from picking at it. thank you so much for posting this! i cannot say it will fully replace my cameron cooker recipe - but i can say i will eat pulled pork way more often! ellie

Before I give my review on this recipe I have to tell you, it's been printed out since September. And after making it on 10/17/08, this should have been made alot sooner.Since we had carrots the night before, they were left out.But other than that the recipe was followed as written. The pork was very moist and had quite a bit of flavor, I think the leftovers will make very good sandwiches. Thanks for posting and, "Keep Smiling :)"

I loved this! I cooked this for 8.5 hours, and about 8 hours into the cooking time, I opened up the cooker and shred the pork with two forks. Then, I dumped more of the bbq sauce on top. This allowed all the sauce and juices to seep into the meat and the result was DELICIOUS! I ate an entire portion while standing over the crockpot before I even served the family.

My beloved husband, Tom, passed away 3 years ago. My world stopped. It's taken me all this time to find my way back to life without him.
I have been so blessed to have found my second, once in a lifetime. I've met an amazing man who is so good to me.
We moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Bullhead City, Az. in February, and we love it here.

Cooking is my passion, and I am slowly, but surely beginning to venture into the world of baking. To me, cooking is so much easier because baking is so much more exact.
I love to make Italian and Mexican food the best, followed by Chinese and last, but by far the least, good old American food! How can you beat chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy?? I love to find several recipes and put my own spin on them and create a new recipe.
