- 5 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄4 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 2 garlic cloves, diced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- catsup
directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In large food processor, add onion, celery, bell pepper, and garlic. Process all into very small pieces, not quite puree.
- Put the meat into a large bowl and mash with a potato masher until it is in small pieces. Add remaining ingredients, except catsup, and mash together with potato masher. Divide into half, and place into two loaf pans. Spread desired amount of catsup on the top of each loaf. Bake for 45 minutes.
- When done, remove from loaf pans and allow to rest 15 minutes before carving.
