An excellent meal! The basting sauce really compliments the flavor of the turkey without overpowering the meal. I served it with candied carrots and green beans. I used a whole turkey breast, and doubled the sauce to accomodate the larger turkey breast, cooking it slowly in a covered roaster in the oven (about 3 1/2 hours at 300 F).

My AC is broken so I was looking for a crockpot recipe but I didn't want a stew or casserole type. When I ran across this recipe, I hit on a winner! This was fabulous. I followed your directions exactly. Fifteen minutes before we ate, I added 1/4 cup milk to make a "gravy" to spoon over the turkey. I served it with Mashed Potatoes and steamed carrots. It was like Thankgiving in August and I didn't have to heat up the kitchen! I will make this again and again. Thanks for posting a great recipe.

This would have been good as posted. Decided to use suggestions form a few other cooks and a couple additions of my own. Doubled sauce. Added milk at the end. Also added a dalop of sour cream and some grated parm. Shreaded chicken breast in sauce and served over wheat pasta with steamed broccoli. Yum!

This was fantasic!!! I wasn't sure about it, but it sounded good so I tried it. I had a 5lb turkey breast so I increased the recipe accordingly. The cream cheese cooked down into a wonderful "gravy" that was the perfect enhancement to this. I did more than double the garlic as my fiancee is a garlic fiend. I served this with recipe #76802 (used butternut squash instead of acorn) and a spring salad with raspberry vinagrette. I will definitely cook this again .. this would be a great recipe for any poultry product. I've already been asked to cook this with chicken breast! Thanx for posting this wonderful recipe!!
