- 1 1⁄4 cups oatmeal, processed in blender for 1 minute
- 1 teaspoon basil, dried
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1⁄2 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 chicken breasts, skinless, boneless, cut into 1-inch strips (or 12 tenderloin strips)
- 1⁄4 cup 2% low-fat milk
- 1⁄4 cup margarine, melted
directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Combine first 6 ingredients and place in a shallow dish.
- Put milk in a shallow dish.
- Dip chicken into dry mixture.
- Then dip into milk.
- Then dip into dry mixture again.
- Place chicken pieces on a 10" x 15" baking pan.
- Drizzle chicken with melted margarine.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
