Leave out the butter and use the spices as a rub to make this lower in fat and calories. Bake it or grill it. Use it on chicken or fish. Cook time noted is an estimate.
- Mix the butter and spices.
- Drizzle over chicken.
- Bake at 375* until done.
Delicious! Even my husband who hates chicken breasts enjoyed them. To save on cholesterol while retaining the benefit of keeping the meat from drying out by coating it with a fat, I used half butter and half olive oil. I even used a little extra seasoned butter on the vegetables.
This made for wonderfully seasoned chicken breasts. Loved the combination of onions and garlic combined with the spices - the aroma alone worth a five! I especially enjoyed the addition of the rosemary. Recipe added to my keepers. Thank you Lysa.
