- 6 boneless pork chops
- salt and pepper
- 29.58 ml vegetable oil
- 177.44 ml uncooked rice
- 4.92 ml salt
- 226.79 g can undrained pineapple tidbits
- 118.29 ml coarsely chopped green pepper
- 439.41 g can manwitch sloppy joe sandwich sauce
- 236.59 ml hot water
directions
- Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper.
- Brown well in oil, in large skillet.
- Remove chops and drain excess oil.
- In skillet, stir in rice, pineapple and juice, green pepper, Manwitch, and hot water.
- Place chops on top.
- Bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer covered, 45 minutes or until rice is done and chops are tender.
