  • Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup juice.
  • Set aside.
  • Place pork chops in shallow pan.
  • Combine reserved pineapple juice, soy sauce, vegetable oil, onion, garlic and brown sugar,.mix well.
  • Pour over pork chops, marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours.
  • Grill 40-45 minutes, turning frequently and basting with marinade.
  • Top each pork chop with pineapple slice, during last 5 minutes of grilling.
  • I put any leftover marinade in a squeeze bottle.makes it easy to baste while cooking.

  1. The marinade is great but CAUTION when it comes to the amount of grilling time. I would NEVER grill pork chops for 40-45 minutes no matter how thick they are. My chops were bone-in and @ 1-1/2 inches thick and they took less than 20 minutes to be cooked through.
     
  2. I baked them instead of grilling them, as it is rather cold out for grilling. My husband and I both loved them! Definitely goes in the make again file.

I love cooking, and reading Christian fiction..I have 5 grandchildren..4 boys and 1 spoiled granddaughter...I also have a black cocker spaniel named Tobey..who is very spoiled..Love computer games, cross stitch and reading cookbooks..I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia almost a year ago, on September 26, 2005....was in an out of the hospital for 8 months, doing intensive chemo...I am doing well now, thanks for all the prayers...
