hamburger stew

"Good cold weather recipe. Also good to make ahead and reheat. I often make it the night before and just reheat it the next night for supper."

• Ingredients: 9
• Serves: 6

ingredients

• 1 lb lean hamburger
• 8 -10 potatoes
• 3 -4 carrots
• 1 can green wax beans
• 1 can corn
• 1 can peas
• 1 onion (optional)
• 2 packages instant Oxo
• 1 -2 teaspoon allspice

directions

1. brown meat and drain well.
2. Peel and chop potatoes and carrots into stew size pieces and place in a large pot.
3. Cover with water.
4. Add the rest of ingredients, cover and simmer 2-3 hours.
5. This recipe is very good reheated.
