ingredients
- 2 slice bacon, cooked and crumbled, reserve 1 tbsp bacon fat
- 118.29 ml chopped onion
- 226.79 g diced water chestnuts, drained
- 453.59 g green beans, drain but RESERVE 1/2 cup liquid
- 1.23 ml dry mustard
- 14.79 ml brown sugar
- 14.79 ml cider vinegar
- salt, if needed to taste
directions
- In a saucepan, brown onions and water chestnuts in the reserved bacon fat.
- Add the reserved 1/2 cup green bean liquid, and all other ingredients to the saucepan.
- Heat just to a boiling and serve.
