My mom makes this a lot and it seems like it gets better each time. So delicious. Mashed potatoes are good anyway but these are extra special. This can also be prepared up to a couple of days ahead of time and then put in oven when needed.
This was excellent served as a side dish with Karl Ratzsch's Hungarian Beef Goulash ! I can see this would be great on a holiday too, prepared ahead and cooked when needed to accompany a turkey or ham. Thanks to Queen Puff and her mom! Made for PAC Spring 2010.

Mayonnaise is the secret ingredient in this recipe. I used regular mayo (instead of Miracle Whip--just a personal preference). This is a great variation on an old classic. Super simple and super delicious. Made for My Three Chefs/The Great Idaho Potato.
