- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 28 squares)
- 3⁄4 cup nuts, chopped
- 3⁄4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 1⁄3 teaspoons cinnamon (I don't know about you, but mine doesn't have a "third"measure spoon!)
- 3⁄4 cup butter, melted (or margarine)
- 1 (8 ounce) box devil's food cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Generously grease a 9x13" pan.
- Mix crumbs, sugar, cinnamon, nuts and butter; set aside.
- Prepare cake mix according to box directions.
- Pour about 2 1/3 Celsius batter into pan; sprinkle with 2 Celsius crumb mixture.
- Pour remaining batter into pan; sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
- Bake until cake springs back when touched lightly in the middle, about 45-50 minutes.
- Cool before serving.
