This is a favorite in our family!
- Place the butter into a cake pan and place the pan in a 400 degree oven until the butter is melted, but not browning.
- Remove pan from the oven.
- Beat the eggs, milk, flour, and salt together. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Top with syrup or other toppings.
I knew nothing about german pancakes when I made this recipe. My husband said give it 5 stars!! I used a 9X13 pan to cook them in and cut them into 8 squares to serve. We topped ours with maple syrup. If you have not tried german pancakes you should. Very easy and very good.
