Tasty flounder with a juicy lemon sauce

Top Review by Darkhunter

This was a difficult dish to make, thus the loss of 2 stars. Using the batter as written, not much parmesan cheese adhered to the fish fillets. It would be better I think if the fish were dipped into the eggs & reduced amount of milk and then dipped into the parm and parsley and cooked. The lemon sauce, IMO, had too much of the chicken taste instead of a lemony sauce. Also, no time was given for the reduction of the sauce. Overall, a lot of tweaking needs to be done. Please, remember this is only one opinion, Mr. Chef #2. Thnx for sharing your recipe. Made for My-3-Chefs 2009.

  1. Preheat Oven: 350 degrees. Dip fillets in batter and cook in a nonstick pan with a small amount of cooking spray. Cook on both sides until fillets are golden brown. Place fillets on oven pan and bake for 5 to 6 minutes. Saute shrimp with a small amount of butter, lemon juice and white wine. Place on top of fillets and serve topped with sweet lemon sauce.
