  • Soak tomatoes in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  • Drain and puree.
  • Heat oil, add onion and garlic – cook 5 minutes.
  • Add remaining clam juice, broth, tomato paste and spices.
  • Bring to boil and simmer 15 minutes.
  • Add clams.
