  1. I had high hopes for this recipe. But I don't have much experience cooking with fish sauce and this was an unfortunate first. The fish sauce overpowered everything. We couldn't eat it. Had to throw the whole thing out. I might try again using FAR less fish sauce.

  2. First of all, a few things, in the ingredients list, it calls for fish stock, in the directions it says fish sauce. I used fish sauce because I couldn't find any fish stock at the store. Also, in the directions it says to add bean sprouts, but bean sprouts aren't listed in the ingredients. Since I didn't notice that beforehand, I didn't add them. Having said that, the recipe is delicious!! It was very colorful and the flavors blended nicely. As I said, I left out the bean sprouts and used fish sauce. Next time I might add more red pepper flakes, since we do like our food spicy. After dinner, my husband was cleaning up and asked what the egg was for. I had forgotten to put that in!! Woops. All in all, a great recipe! Thanks for posting it.
