You can use any fresh fruit, but I think blackberries are the best. I've tried frozen fruit and it turns out a bit soggy.
- Preheat oven 325.
- Melt the butter in the bottom of an 8x8 glass pan.
- In a large bowl combine the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT fruit.
- Pour batter into pan.
- Place fruit on top.
- Bake for 1 hour.
