Easy Corn Chowder

ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 cup onion
- 1 cup carrot
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1 1⁄2 cups half-and-half
- 2 cups frozen corn kernels
- salt and pepper
directions
- Melt butter in pot
- add onions and carrots until soft
- add garlic until slighty brown.
- mix in flour and cook it for 1-2 min.
- pour in chicken stock and wisk so that theres no lumps
- let boil and add in corn and half and half.
- let boil
- add salt and pepper to taste.

Definitely an easy-to-make recipe, & I did use a homemade chicken stock for this, while also substituting lemon pepper for the usual S&P! Another time, though, I might just use a vegetable stock instead of the chicken, since my son & his wife are vegetarians! Also might try this using grilled fresh corn!
