directions

  • Melt butter in pot
  • add onions and carrots until soft
  • add garlic until slighty brown.
  • mix in flour and cook it for 1-2 min.
  • pour in chicken stock and wisk so that theres no lumps
  • let boil and add in corn and half and half.
  • let boil
  • add salt and pepper to taste.

  1. Definitely an easy-to-make recipe, & I did use a homemade chicken stock for this, while also substituting lemon pepper for the usual S&P! Another time, though, I might just use a vegetable stock instead of the chicken, since my son & his wife are vegetarians! Also might try this using grilled fresh corn! [Tagged, made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in the current Pick A Chef]
