Dad's Saucy Meat Loaf

This recipe originally called for ketchup. I got the idea to substitute Bennets chili sauce. Really good. Serve with yukon gold mashed potatoes and your favorite veggie.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 deg.
  2. Combine grnd chuck, oats, milk, 2 Tbs chili sauce(save back 6 Tbs for sauce) onion, egg, Lea & Perrins, and chili powder.
  3. Form into loaf shape and Bake 1hr.
  4. Combine remaining chili sauce w/brown sugar. Spread over meatloaf.
  5. Bake additional 15 minute or until thermometer reads 165 deg.
  6. Let stand 10 min and slice.
  7. If desired, serve with Yukon Gold Homemade ( no instant) Mashed Potatoes and corn.
