    Chef Steve of Elgin IL's Note:

    This recipe originally called for ketchup. I got the idea to substitute Bennets chili sauce. Really good. Serve with yukon gold mashed potatoes and your favorite veggie.

    Directions:

      Preheat oven to 350 deg.

      Combine grnd chuck, oats, milk, 2 Tbs chili sauce(save back 6 Tbs for sauce) onion, egg, Lea & Perrins, and chili powder.

      Form into loaf shape and Bake 1hr.

      Combine remaining chili sauce w/brown sugar. Spread over meatloaf.

      Bake additional 15 minute or until thermometer reads 165 deg.

      Let stand 10 min and slice.

      If desired, serve with Yukon Gold Homemade ( no instant) Mashed Potatoes and corn.
