- 473.18 ml half-and-half cream or 473.18 ml whipping cream
- 1.23 ml salt
- 0.25 ml garlic powder, to taste
- 0.61 ml pepper
- 118.29 ml uncooked quick-cooking grits
- 56.69 g cream cheese, softened
- 177.44 ml shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1.23 ml hot sauce
directions
- Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan; gradually stir in grits.
- Return to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5-7 minutes or until thickened.
- Add cheeses and hot sauce, stirring until cheeses melt.
- Serve immediately.
