Wonderful chowder - made for the game Cookalong Challenge. We had it for lunch. I did replace 1/2 the milk with half'n half which I had left from another recipe and I used cream of potato soup instead of mushroom (a personal preference.) It was great!! Thanks Liz for a good recipe.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 ounce) can creamed corn
  • 1 12 cups diced raw potatoes
  • 10 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 cups milk
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 18 teaspoon pepper


  1. Put bacon and onion into a pot and saute together until onion is clear and limp.
  2. Add next 6 ingredients.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Cover and simmer until potato is cooked.
