This southern classic is very rich. When I moved to OH and told someone that I was making this pie they said "What kinda pie is that"? I was in shock....I grew up on chess pie...must be a southern thing.
- By hand, beat eggs slightly.
- Add sugar, flour and meal.
- Add in the milk, butter, vanilla and vinegar.
- Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
- Bake for 45 minutes at 325 degrees, then at 300 degrees for 10 minutes.
