A yummy alternative to the expensive box mixes of this stuff. Make it with splenda for a sugar free alternative

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients until they are well blended.
  2. Store mix in an airtight container.
  3. To use, stir the mix in the container before measuring out 2/3 cup of the mix into a saucepan.
  4. Add 2 cups milk and cook over low heat, stirring, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
  5. Continue stirring for 1 minute.
  6. Remove from heat and pour into individual serving dishes.
  7. Pudding will thicken further as it cools.

I wanted to use up some powdered milk... this recipe was a great way to do that. It is a nice dessert to have on hand... good for an easy chocolate fix. :)

This is a great home-made pudding and you can make such a large quantity with few ingredients. I plan to keep a jar of it in the pantry at all times for those "need chocolate" fixes.
