This is a delicious creamy frosting with a slight coffee taste.
- 6 tablespoons cocoa
- 6 tablespoons hot coffee
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- Let butter soften.
- Beat all ingredients together.
Taste is a 5 but I had real trouble with the consistency. I needed 6 cups of powdered sugar to make the frosting the right consistency.
i had these on a soft and chewy peanut butter cookie it was out of this world good
I made a half recipe of this so easy-to-fix & delicious frosting yesterday to go w/your Chocolate Muffins (both PAC choices) & left it overnite in the refrigerator till today. I suspected that the muffins would be yummy (even plain), so I used the frosting sparingly on top (almost like a garnish) & added a pecan half as well. This is great frosting! Thx for sharing this recipe w/us. :-) *Edited to Add* The empty muffin spot in the pic was my taste test.
