These cookies are superb! My family loved how chocolatey and soft they were. I mixed 3/4 cup chopped walnuts into the batter, which tasted great. I dropped them by teaspoonfuls, which made 4 dozen cookies. I will definitely make these again, and plan to try mixing other things in for a different taste. Thank you for sharing your recipe!

Looking at the ingrdients I thought these cookies sounded good, but they were GREAT! The dough is very, very soft even after refrigeration, so I lined my cookie sheets with parchment paper and dropped them by teaspoonfuls on to the paper. I baked the cookies for about 12 minutes as mine were a bit larger. I did get 2 dozen. They are light and cakelike, without being overly sweet. I also added the nuts and loved them. This recipe is one of Zaar's hidden gems. Thanks for sharing a definite keeper! *Made for Fall PAC 2008*
