- 453.59 g ground round
- 453.59 g ground venison
- 453.59 g package sage flavored pork sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 2 (793.78 g) can tomatoes with juice
- 425.24 g can tomato sauce
- 2 chipotle chiles in adobo, seeded and chopped
- 9.85 ml adobo sauce
- 14.79 ml chili powder
- 4.92 ml cumin
- 9.85 ml dried oregano
- 2.46 ml salt
- shredded monterey jack cheese, to garnish
- sour cream, to garnish
- sliced green onion, to garnish
- 1in large dutch oven brown meats till crumbled.
- 2drain all but 1 tablespoon of drippings.
- 3saute onion, green pepper,and garlic about 10 minutes.
- 4add meat back to dutch oven.
- 5add tomatoes,tomato sauce,chipotles,adobo sauce and seasonings.
- 6stir well and simmer for at least 1 hour.
- 7serve with condiments of choice!
