  1. Loved these! One small change - I think I will add a bit of something acid-y next time to cut the sweetness of the five spice.

  2. It was good. I served it with white rice and green beans. I'll definitely make them again.

  3. yummy and easy, very quick to make too. Just what i need. Cheer's for that!

  4. Very good! I didn't have any garlic-infused olive oil, so I opted for using plain olive oil and minced garlic. I also cut back on the oil (New Year's diet, dontcha know) and just sprayed the pork chops with olive oil spray, instead of using two full tablespoonfuls. Couldn't have been easier to make, and very flavorful. Thanks for posting this!

  5. Well Jen - having tried your apple cream sponge and loved it, i thought i'd have a look at what else you had posted, i'm SO glad i did! These chops were so easy and simple and taste really really good! This will be one of those that i will remember - i had chops at a friends and i suggested that i bring these ingredients to jazz it up, everyone was unsure until they tasted them! I had to leave the recipe and print myself off another! Yum - can't wait to try out some more of your recipes - keep posting!

Tweaks

  1. I've been searching for a five-spice pork recipe that I've misplaced and found this one. The marinade did seem to be wanting for an acidic note as mentioned by another poster. I added about a teaspoon of white wine vinegar, doubled down on the minced garlic and grilled on a cedar plank to 140 degrees. It was magnificent.

  2. I just used 1tsp of each on every chops then sprinkled the chops with the 5 spice delicious. Ty for sharing
