- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 14.79 ml cooking oil
- 1814.36 g ground beef
- 4 (907.18 g) can tomato sauce
- 946.36 ml water (or more)
- 118.32 ml mild chili powder
- 44.37 ml baking cocoa
- 29.58 ml sugar
- 19.71 ml salt
- 19.71 ml oregano
- 9.85 ml cumin
- 3 (1275.72 g) can pinto beans
directions
- 1. In a large skillet, saute onion, and garlic in oil. Add meat and brown. Drain excess fat.
- 2. Stir in all other ingredients. Simmer for 1 hour.
- Note: Be careful not to burn the bottom of pan, particularly if making a larger batch.
