This is one of the easiest meals to prepare. For variation I occasionally throw in 1/2 cup pineapple chunks. I found it the "Slow Cooker Recipes", Publications International, Ltd.

I agree that this recipe is easy to fix and has a unique flavour from the slow cooker. I was intrigued by the ingredients... especially the molasses!! We found it tasty for a change although not a regular for out tastes. I used frozen chicken drumsticks, brown sugar, and tamari (instead of soy sauce). I also thickened the sauce a little using cornflour. I served it with veges and the sauce was nice with potato. The kids ate it without comment and from them that's a big compliment!! *grin* Thanks for sharing!!
