This chicken casserole is so simple. It reminds me of chicken rice soup, but in a casserole form instead.
- 2 cups cubed cooked chicken
- 1 cup rice
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- salt and pepper
- Mix all ingredients.
- Bake at 325 degrees for one hour.
This recipe cooks faster if you lightly cover it with aluminum foil while baking. Then it only takes about an hour. It tastes great!!
The kids loved it but it took almost 3 hours to cook. I think next time I will cook things separate and bake it for a few minutes at the end.
This casserole is so easy! I used cream of potato soup instead of mushroom and I added some frozen broccoli florets. It's a great meal to just throw together after a long day at work. Delicious! My husband rated it a 10 out of 10!
