A quick crowd pleaser, that is a favorite in my house!
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of celery soup
- 1⁄2 cup milk
- 6 ounces chicken
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 1 (16 ounce) package frozen broccoli
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 lb rotini pasta
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook pasta according to package directions. While pasta is cooking mix together soup, sour cream, broccoli, chicken, and 1 cup of cheese. Add cooked pasta to mixture and put in baking dish. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Add remaining cup of cheese to top and cook until melted (about 5 minutes).
I have to give this recipe only a 3 because it took alot of personal "tweaking" to make it work. I doubled the soup. Added 1/4c extra milk. Added salt & pepper. I also doubled the chicken and there still didn't seem to be enough. It was an okay dish after all of that. Very kid friendly.
This is a very good and satisfying dish!!! I did double the milk and soup to make it it a bit more saucier. This dish will surely please your family and I am so glad you shared it, FaithfulCookinNC. I can't wait to make it again.
This is another quick and easy dish to prepare. I think it needed a little more milk, maybe a 1/4 cup more. I would also add more cheese and some salt and pepper. But overall is was good and I would make again with those changes. Thank you for another quick recipe. Made for PAC Fall 2007.
