    Skewered cut apples chunks, pineapple, banana, cake, marshmallow, or other fruits dipped into a caramel, peanut butter fondue then roll in chopped nuts or toasted coconut after dipping. The amounts of dipping condiments vary because there are light dippers and then there is heavy dippers. Body paints for those Valentines Lovers!!!

    • 1 (14 ounce) package caramels
    • 1/3 cup cream
    • 1 -2 tablespoon peanut butter
    • 2 -4 cups cubed fruit
    • 1 cup chopped nuts or 1 cup toasted coconut
    • skewer

    Directions:

      Combine caramels, milk and peanut butter in 1-quart microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 2 to 3-1/2 minutes. Pour mixture into 1-quart fondue pot. Serve, heated, with skewers for cut apples chunks, pineapple, banana, cake, marshmallow, or other fruits as dippers into fondue then roll in chopped nuts or toasted coconut after dipping.

      Rita, I didnt do this as fondue but as a topper for homemade brownie caramel sundaes. Its awesome like that and it keeps and reheats nicely. Thanks for a yummy ince cream topper!
