This is a very good slaw. Great for summer, don't have to worry about Mayo going bad in the heat.

  1. Chop cabbage and onion and put into layer of each into a large bowl.
  2. Bring other ingredients except oil to a boil. When cool, mix in cooking oil and pour over cabbage and onions.
  3. Let stand over night without stirring. Stir before serving.
