  1. Excellent bread! Made with two changes - I subbed 1 cup of spelt flour because I absolutely love it, and used olive oil instead of butter. This makes a fantastic, soft and delicious loaf - the buttermilk and wheat germ are real winners here! This is going in my Best of 2011 book! Thanks BakinBaby! Made for 1-2-3 Hits.

  2. A fine bread. I needed a bit more flour, it seemed, and I did use some whole wheat flour to add to the wheatiness of it all. Made very nice rolls for our sandwiches.

  3. DH says "best bread you've ever made" We loved this, I did use 1 cup of wheat flour with 2 cups of white. Very easy, just set and go. Makes great toast too. Will make this again.

  4. Outstanding bread. I can't seem to use an entire loaf before I have to toss it out so I usually make buns that I keep in the freezer. Today I made ghosts because it's Oct, lol. The bread is delicious and DH couldn't wait till they cooled but grabbed the biggest ghost and his jam jar. The dough is wonderful to work with and rises like a dream. I used Splenda to replace the sugar, Made for Photo Tag.
