Bran Bread (Bread Machine)

"This is so good and good for you. I like to make different breads in my machine for some variety. This is good. The wheat bran you use needs to be for the "high" temperature in bread making, or it will not rise."

 1. Wow. This is an awesome recipie so much so I joined food .com to give you 5 stars! I substituted suger with honey and after 20 minutes of my bread machine not starting in whole wheat mode, unplugged it and started again (yeah I found out it's supposed to do that to let the yeast do it's work)this ended up double timing the yeast making this loaf so soft. This loaf was so good that it was devoured, and right now I am making a double batch(the next day). Thanks again my wife and family loved it

 2. The only reason I won't star rate this is because with one hour and forty minutes left in the
ABM I accidentally unplugged the machine! So, lined a loaf pan with parchment paper,
dumped the bread dough in, covered and let rise in warm oven for about 25 minutes. Baked at 375 for 25 minutes and a perfect loaf of bread appeared! Yay! Three quarters of a cup of unbleached white flour was replaced with whole wheat flour. Loved the texture of this bread. It's not dry and has a lovely subtle sweetness. Served with crock pot creamy potato soup! What a pairing! Thanks for posting the recipe.

Read more at: http://www.food.com/recipe/bran-bread-bread-machine-315157/review#rz-w?oc=linkback
