Bourbon Brats and Shrimp

I was craving bratwurst and shrimp so decided to throw them together for something exotic. I really can't decide if it's Creole or Asian but it sure is yummy. I served it over rice.

• Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients:

Servings: 4

• 1 lb jumbo shrimp , cooked and peeled
• 1 lb bratwurst , cooked and diced
• 1 bell pepper , diced
• ½ cup olive oil
• 2 garlic cloves
• ½ cup onion
• 1 cup apple juice
• 2⁄3; cup soy sauce
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ½ teaspoon garlic powder
• ½ tablespoon ginger
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 2 tablespoons ketchup
• ½ tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
• ¼ cup brown sugar

Directions:

1. Heat oil in a large skillet.
2. Saute oinion,garlic,and bell pepper for 5 minutes.
3. Add bratwurst and shrimp and stir in remaining ingredients.
4. reduce heat and cook for 15 more minutes.
