When marinating steak or kebobs pierce them with a fork in several places and marinate for 12-24 hours for maximum tenderness. Use Inside round, outside round, blade eye of round or sirloin tip This marinade has a nice robust flavor
- 1⁄4 cup lea & perrins Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄4 cup chutney (mild or hot)
- 1 tablespoon onion, chopped
- Mix all the ingredient and pour over meat.
- Refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
mmmm Delicious!! wonderful flavour. I used a mango chutney and red onion. Quick, easy and delicious. Used it on sirloin steak; it was the best and I will make it again, thanks Bergy for another winner!!
Hey Bergy! This was just like my city! Wonderful! :) I used hot mango chutney though to make this. Will make your chutney next week. I found it so different from any other steaks. DH normally does not like a sweetish taste in his meats but this one he said was good! Used it the next day to make in a potato and egg scramble (of all things) after dicing the meat fine. DH enjoyed that concoction too. Will make this again. Surely! Thanks :) Fay
