A wonderful brunch casserole that is made a day ahead to free up your time on the busy brunch day. Blueberries add a special touch and there is blueberry syrup, too.

  1. Spread bread cubes in a greased 9x13-inch baking pan. Dot with cream cheese and blueberries.
  2. Beat the eggs. Add maple syrup and milk. Pour over. Cover tightly with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake 30 minutes covered with foil; remove foil and bake 30 minutes uncovered.
  4. To make Blueberry Syrup: Stir sugar, cornstarch and water together over high heat. Add the butter and blueberries. Cook until berries pop. Serve warm over casserole.
