  • Place spinach on a large platter.
  • Top with blue cheese and walnuts.
  • Warm maple syrup in a small saucepan.
  • pour vinegar into a small bowl.
  • Whisk oil into vinegar in a slow stream.
  • Whisk maple syrup into dressing in a slow stream.
  • pour dressing down over the salad platter and serve.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. I believe this is a Rachael Ray recipe because I found it on Food Network. Whose ever it is, it is fantastic! The dressing is to die for. Who would have ever guessed maple syrup would work in a salad dressing?

I'm disable now for a couple years. I was in sales for 25 years and was a policeman for 5 years before that and just floated around a few years before that. I've been married to the same gal for 30 years, got two sons and two grandchildren. I got into the recipe seen and have got hooked on it, I'm not a cook but I'm learning as I go.
