This recipe came from my dad and is always a crowd pleaser.

  1. Cook bacon reserving 3 tablespoons of fat.
  2. Sauté onion in bacon fat until transparent.
  3. Combine water, vinegar and sugar and bring to boil.
  4. Reduce heat, add mayonnaise and onion with a whisk.
  5. Serve dressing warm or cold drizzled over spinach, mushrooms, cheese and eggs.
  6. Drizzle dressing.
