ingredients
- 300 g diced beef
- 3 small carrots, sliced
- 1 (250 g) jar salsa (you choose the hotness)
- 1⁄4 cup hot water
- 1 beef stock cube
- 1 cup frozen green beans
directions
- Throw it all in the crock except the beans (my beef was frozen).
- Cook on auto for 8 hours.
- Add beans 20 minutes before serving.
- Serve on rice.

PAC 2008 This is so simple and tasty. I used mild salsa and left cayenne pepper on table for DH to add. For such a simple recipe the taste wowed. This seems to be a versatile recipe. We did not use rice but pasta noodles instead as DH does not like rice. Thank you for a redo recipe. I can see adding a bit more beef cube and water to make a festive soup.
