Another recipe received from my Japanese roommate in college.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Put meat in marinade for 30 minutes.
  2. Brown meat in 2 T hot oil and turn into bowl.
  3. Add 1 T oil to pan and when hot put in vegetables and stir=fry until veges are just tender. Do not Overcook.
  4. Put beef back in pan and add gravy ingredients. Cook for 1 minute.

Delicious! We really loved this quick and easy dish. I wanted to make sure that the meat really soaked up the flavor of the marinade, so I not only increased the amount of marinade used, but I let the meat marinate for about 2 hours. I used sake wine in the marinade and low-sodium soy sauce. Also, I doubled the gravy because we desired to have more sauce to compliment the amount of vegetables used.
