- 1 1⁄2 lbs sirloin steaks
- 1 garlic clove, crushed and minced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
- 1⁄2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 cup sour cream
- cooked rice or noodles
directions
- Crush garlic and rub into steak.
- In small bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper--rub onto steak then pound it with a meat tenderizer. Cube steak.
- Melt butter or margarine in large pan. Add steak and brown. Once browned, add onion and cook until transparent.
- Add soup and mushrooms and stir well.
- Simmer covered over medium low heat for 45 minutes. Add sour cream and heat through.
- Serve over ric eor noodles.
