BBQ Spaghetti

"A different way to cook spaghetti. The homemade BBQ sauce is delicious, but I suppose in a pinch you could use any pre-made sauce. From Down Home with the Neelys on Food Network (what would we do without that channel)!"

  1. I really enjoyed this. My only change to the recipe was to add some liquid smoke to the sauce. Thanks for the posting.

  2. This was wonderful. The only thing I did different was to add some ground chicken. I have made this before, but did not use this sauce. I believe this sauce really makes this so good. I think I thought I could get by with a bottle of sauce last time, but I'm so glad I made this sauce this time. Thanks so much for posting. I will be making this a lot this summer.

  3. It's getting the 5 for the sauce-- so very good!! Due to picky kids, I knew I couldn't serve them this exactly as written-- but my modifications were minor altogether-- heaven forbid that there actually be a meat/sauce mixed in with the spaghetti!! I slow cooked, using only 1/2 cup water (boneless pork ribs) til fork tender (about 4 hours on high) and served meat, sauce, spaghetti all separate-- to be mixed as desired. Very yummy. I also cut back on the pepper- which I usually do to recipes due to personal taste. Thanks for a great BBQ pork!!

  4. We really enjoyed this recipe. I used leftover pork carnitas, Recipe #108939, and followed recipe, halving it for 2 1/2 people ! We still have leftovers for lunch tomorrow for DH and DS, even with cutting in half. Very tasty and unique, will make again. Thanks for posting!

  5. This was great! My husband is a picky eater, and he loved this. I added smoke flavor like one of the reviews suggested and I accidently left out the vinegar. I lightly salted and then stir-fried the pork with minced garlic, removed it from the pan, then stir-fried the pepper and onion just to tender-crisp, then returned the pork to the pan and added the sauce and the cooked noodles. I only used a half pound box of spaghetti noodles (I used half the sauce in the recipe and put the rest in my fridge to use for BBQ sauce) but I still had plenty for four servings.
