  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated cheese (the milder, the better, try cheddar, mozzarella)

Directions

  1. Melt butter in saucepan.
  2. Stir in flour until blended.
  3. Stir in milk slowly.
  4. When the sauce has thickened, reduce heat and stir in cheese.
  5. Wonderful on steamed broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus or any veggie you want your child to try.

Perfect. Easy, quick, yummy! I used Jack cheese and poured the sauce over egg noodles with peas and diced ham. My 3 year old is in HEAVEN!

Excellent and easy cheese sauce! The ingredients are things that most everyone has on hand all the time, so this is a keeper in my book! I made the cheese sauce for a meatloaf and it was really delicious. Thank you Xiola Blue!
