- 1⁄2 cup Crisco
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup banana, mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
directions
- Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
- Add eggs and bananas and mix well.
- Combine flour, baking soda and vanilla. Mix well, add nuts.
- Grease and flour bread tin.
- Bake 1 hour at 350.
- Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
