  1. Cook the onion and garlic in butter until soft.
  2. Add the ground beef and brown lightly.
  3. Blend in the flour.
  4. Add the raisins through water; simmer, covered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the peas, salt and pepper; reheat.
  6. Serve on hot rice.

I loved this! I left out the ginger, raisins, and almonds as a matter of personal taste. I also used ground turkey instead of beef, as that is what I had on hand. Delicious! I will definitly make this again. Thanks for sharing! :D

Maybe I lived in New Mexico to long but this really was bland and I put twice as much curry powder and I used the hot stuff. I really wanted to like it but I dont think I would make this again.

Loved this dish. I'm not much into curries, but my husband likes it. This sounded like something I might enjoy. It doesn't have too much curry. I didn't have the powdered ginger, so subbed some fresh. I also omitted the nuts. Didn't have any on hand. Thankfully it was an option. I also cut the onions back to two. :)
