  • Chop cabbage into small bite size pieces. Grate carrots. Chop onion into fine pieces. Chop celery into fine pieces. Toss into bowl.
  • Mix vinegar, soya sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Mix into veggies.
  • Refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
  • You can also add dry noodles for a bit of crunch, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds (try them toasted for a bit of flavor)!

  1. Followed your recipe right on down & included some toasted sesame seeds, all for a very satisfying coleslaw! However, for ease of preparation, another time I might just substitute a 12-ounce bag of prepared coleslaw (which around here is mostly cabbage) for the cabbage, & go on from there! I even liked a generous spoonful of it included in a bun with pulled pork! Thanks for posting the recipe! [Made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in this fall's round of Pick A Chef]
