  • Heat ghee in pan. (You can substitute clarified butter, olive, or canola oil for the ghee.).
  • Saute onion.
  • Add rice and saute until you release the rice aroma.
  • Add broth and saffron.
  • Bring to pressure in your pressure cooker for 10 minute if using white basmati, 20 min for brown.
  • Release pressure, add chopped tomato, peas, and cilantro. Stir and let sit while you prepare the rest of the meal.
  • Enjoy.
