Oven-roasted Potatoes

"I was looking for a potato side dish to go with a meal and found this one that I had collected on the internet sometime in the past. I didn't have time to follow the oven directions so I cooked it in the microwave for 12 minutes. The family seems to really like paprika, they ate this up. I did some searching and the creator of this must have been a writer for TOH."

 1. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. These potatoes were excellent. Tender and flavorful, quick and very easy to make. We enjoyed them very much, perfect served with pork. I'll be making these again.

 2. I may have to try these again... they never crisped up for me and after 60 minutes some of the potatoes were still not cooked fully. Hmmm, I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I will try them again.

 3. Delicious!! I used new potatoes and after cutting the potatoes in half, I put them in a large freezer bag, poured the melted butter in, gave them a good shake, added the spices and gave them another good shake. Next time I will add a tad bit of garlic powder.. thanks for sharing!!

I started cooking when I was about 12 years old. I was a fan of Graham Kerr's Galloping Gourmet and my mother helped me buy the ingredients and cook Steak Diane after I saw it on his show.

I can't cook for the family every night, but I try try to have one or two nights a week when I can fix them a home meal. Sunday is the day when my wife, 3 kids, 1 daughter-in-law, and 2 grand daughters get together to have a big dinner.

My picture is me holding my babies. Being a grandfather is really great. They call me Papa by the way.
